Description

This vinyl LP features late 60’s sounds of Manfred Mann, with their unique blend of fusion jazz and psychedelic rock. The record label is Polydor, the catalog number is 24-4013, and the release title is "Chapter Three".
This LP is a college of experimental rock and jazz fusion rock music. The record grading is excellent (EX) and the sleeve grading is very good plus (VG+).  Please review the detailed photos included in this listing.
From Wikipedia… Manfred Mann Chapter Three were a British experimental jazz rock band founded by South African keyboard player Manfred Mann and long-time partner Mike Hugg, both former members of the group Manfred Mann.  The line-up for its debut at Newcastle's Mayfair Ballroom on 24 October 1969 was Mike Hugg (vocals/electric piano), Mann (organ), Bernie Living (alto sax), Steve York (bass) and Craig Collinge (drums), augmented by a five-piece brass section of Clive Stevens (tenor sax), Carl Griffiths (tenor sax), Dave Coxhill (baritone sax), Gerald Drewett (trombone) and Sonny Corbett (trumpet).

The band released two studio albums, and shelved a third. Mann went on to form Manfred Mann's Earth Band in 1971.


I played both sides of this vintage LP completely through on my audio-technica AT-LP60XBT turntable without issues. This record plays very well and sounds great!  This is definitely experimental rock / jazz music.  Somewhat obscure without a doubt.  This is not at all like Manfred Mann’s later music with his “Earth Band”.
