Description
MAHLER / KLEMPERER / THE NEW PHILHARMONIA ORCHESTRA - " SYMPHONY NO.9 ", Columbia Records/EMI Records Ltd (SAX 5281-2) Stereo, 1967.
Very rare 1967, first UK Stereo pressing of the Columbia 2LP with the all important "Red Semi" label - see photo.
English issue and pressing.
Professionally cleaned on my Moth record cleaning machine and then put in a fresh new poly-lined inner sleeve (the original inner sleeve has also been retained and included in the auction - see photo)
In the name of a good auction, I will start this LP at just 99p!
CONDITION:
VINYL = EXCELLENT- (The second LP is in straight EX condition - only the lightest visible papers scuffs, plays perfectly without interuption from noise, clicks, etc. Record 1 though does carry a few very light marks - only one is audible and the click it produces is very faint and only affecting a few rotations.
Not a perfect copy which will be devalued to some extent... but not totally ruined either and would make a more affordable 2LP set for someone out there to play and enjoy as it was originally intended.
Note: for the purposes of this listing I have tested this LP on my Linn LP12 Sondek turntable - generally this is quite a critical test, but I must point out that I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable - common sense for most... but then this is ebay!!!)
SLEEVES = EX- (No rips, tears, defacing, big creases, delamination, etc. Good, honest condition with no particular damage to point out, justa bit of normal wear - see photos for further clarification)
