A superb copy of this highly regarded double LP set. All four sides are in superb surface condition, no sign of marks or surface scratches/scuffs. Only a trace of being played from a couple of light spindle scuffs.
I have played from the start of each side, on my Project RPM3 turntable. Only minimal traces of surface noise even from the run-in, on all four sides. Stunning clarity, depth and separation. Both sleeves are in excellent condition, fronts glossy with no trace of yellowing. No major bends and only very slight corner bumping (see images). Mildest trace of discolouration to rear sleeves, just a little to the opening edges, despite being non-laminated (see images). No spine damage, plump and fully intact as new. Inner sleeves with lining in good condition, no adhesion to sleeves or marking of discs.
Based on their identical condition, and that they were acquired as part of a small collection, it is probable that they were purchased new as a set around the time the second label was phased in; the first disc displays a second generation label while the second disc displays an earlier label. This may be considered a negative, yet the condition of the records and the likelihood they were purchased new makes them a highly desirable set, a truly pleasurable listening experience.
