MAGNA CARTA - SEASONS LP - 1970 VERTIGO SWIRL (Catalogue number 6360 003):
This is your chance to bid on this great album on the highly collectible UK Vertigo Swirl label.
This was Magna Carta’s second album release but their first for Vertigo.
The album was produced by Gus Dudgeon & features the following tracks:
Side 1: 1. Prologue 2. Winter Song 3. Spring Poem 4. Spring Song 5. Summer Poem 6. Summer Song 7. Autumn Song 8. Epilogue 9. Winter Song Reprise
Side 2: 1. Goin’ My Way (Road Song) 2. Elizabethan 3. Give Me No Goodbye 4. Ring Of Stones 5. Scarecrow 6. Airport Song
The vinyl is in excellent condition, still bright & shiny. There are some minor surface marks which cause the slightest crackle occassionaly but nothing that detracts from the listening pleasure.
The sleeve is in excellent condition with just minor corner & edge wear. There is some very slight ringwear on the rear of the sleeve. There are a couple of slight marks but as can be seen from the photos they are hardly noticeable. (there is one approx 4 inches from the top of the sleeve on the opening edge of the front sleeve). As with most Vertigo albums it has a beautiful gatefold sleeve.
The record is housed in it’s original Vertigo Swirl inner sleeve. The inner has a couple of creases but overall is in excellent condition. These original inners are now very hard to come by. Photos show the actual item:
