UK 1968 SAGA FID.2125 STEREO
A brilliant and very rare original heavy psych rock album,released in the UK on the SAGA record label in 1968,this album is musically fantastic and in my opinion is far better than many of the major label psych releases of the time,the LP is full of amazing floating spacey psych/rock tracks with superb searing acid lead guitar breaks and great hammond organ and heavy bass guitar,all tracks are the bands own and the lyrics and vocals also sound fantastic,the whole album just gels and sounds amazing,it would be difficult to find a bad thing to say about this brilliant budget psych LP.
VINYL LOOKS EX+ PLAYS GREAT
The very heavy thick pressed original vinyl is in visually excellent+ very clean and glossy condition having just a couple of wispy light marks/scuffs and hairlines,this album looks near new and plays and sounds superb apart from some mild surface crackle and the odd light pop here and there and some clicks on the track 'Living on a hill',being a SAGA pressing this is expected as it would be near impossible to find a SAGA pressed album that does not play with some surface crackle or surface noise of some kind as some SAGA pressed albums are known to be of pretty poor quality and so some surface noise is unavoidable.
LABELS EX
Both labels are in excellent condition.
FRONT LAMINATED SLEEVE EX
The front laminated single sleeve is in excellent very clean condition,the front laminate is very glossy with loads of shine and the colours are still bright and fresh looking,the white matt rear is still almost pure white apart from some very minor ageing and some light creasing,copies that have turned up in the past usually have really bad staining and discolouration on the rear sleeve but this copy on offer here is in superb clean and bright condition,all edges and the spine are in excellent condition and are free of wear.
SAGA INNER SLEEVE VG
The original SAGA inner sleeve has some yellowing and a very small seem split at the bottom but it is still in very good condition,the vinyl will be shipped inside a new poly-lined inner sleeve and the original SAGA inner will also be sent with the album.
This is just a brilliant copy of the best budget label album ever released.
