Description
This auction is for an original Magic Carpet LP (Mushroom 200 MR 20) by UK Magic Carpet band released in 1972 on the Mushroom label. It was kept in a box since the time of release and has not been played. The cover is in very good condition considering its age. with no creases or wear. The inner sleeve has become 'tarnished' with age, slightly discoloured round the edges. Please see photos. Magic Carpet band created a unique sound at the time, blending European contemporary folk sounds of Alisha Sufit (vocals and acoustic guitar) with the skilled sitar playing of Clem Alford, plus guitar by Jim Moyes and tabla by Keshav Sathe.
