MADONNA VOGUE (Ultra Rare WEA Hong Kong Promo 12inch + Press Insert)
These rare little beauties were issued only to Radio Stations & Disc Jockeys in Hong Kong & Southern China to help promote the upcoming Madonna single "VOGUE" way back in 1990. An extremely limited quantity of 50 copies of these WEA promos were produced.
No other Madonna picture sleeve included an image of Madonna taken directly from the iconic VOGUE video clip showing Madonna wearing the see through Fishnet top. This Hong Kong promotional only pressing was distributed only to radio stations to promote the new single. A great collector’s item and possibly Madonna’s most popular song ever!! This is one Madonna item that will excite any true record collector, and is almost impossible to get a hold of.
This copy did not come with the outer Fishnet paper as it was an advance copy sent directly to media in Hong Kong, hence why the rare promotional press insert is included. This rare Hong Kong promo insert was sent out to the media with a copy of the promotional 12 inch of VOGUE.
PLEASE READ CONDITION DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY
• SLEEVE: (VERY GOOD): The condition of the sleeve is graded as "Very Good" see attached photos. There are some slight age stains, creases and scuffs on the cover which is common for records over a decade old from Hong Kong (see pics) - which do not detract from the beauty of this unique and highly collectible sleeve. ?
• ?RECORD (EXCELLENT):?The vinyl record is graded as "Excellent" see attached photos. There are no visible scratches or scuffs, I have not played it so I cannot confirm if it skips but the appearance of the vinyl looks very clean and in great shape overall. ?
• PROMO INSERT (VERY GOOD PLUS): The promotional insert is graded as "Very Good Plus" see attached photos. The insert has the usual wear and tear for a promo item, it is printed on an A4 paper sheet which has mild creasing and small dirt stains – otherwise in great shape.
