MADONNA - Crazy For You - 7" uncut picture disc test pressing - 1991
This is an uncut example of the 7" shaped picture disc. Unlike the standard retail issue, this disc remains in its original round pressed form (12") and has not been cut to the final shape. Typically these uncut discs were created to test image alignment etc. and were destroyed once the design was signed off. Purchased at a UK record fair in the 1990s, I have never played it but cannot guarantee that it has never been played.

Synth-popUncut test pressing for the limited edition 2-track shaped picture disc single. This has not been cut to the finished shape but remains as a 12" disc with clear vinyl surrounding the central image. Uncut picture discs are generally used as 'test pressings', a few are always made to check the image alignment & print quality before the final run is cut to the desired shape.

These records are predominantly from my Dad's collection which needs to be sold (although I'll be moving a few of mine on too.) I am not particularly familiar with the vinyl record market so I don't have a 'buy it now' price. I've tried to start these listings at what I think is a competitive price, and will let the market decide what they're worth at auction. Please take a look at our other records - plenty will be going up over the coming weeks.
I have chosen to use Ebay's 'Simple Delivery' for postage as I don't have the capacity to get mailing quotes for each item / location, plus their rates appear to be reasonable. Ebay will combine postage for multiple purchases but I can't retrospectively add other previously unpurchased records to the bundle as the parcel may then exceed the weight & size of the label provided.
