A song by American singer Madonna, from the soundtrack album to the film Vision Quest (1985). It was released on Mar 2, 1985. Producers decided to use Madonna after listening to her previous recordings. "Crazy for You" ushered a new musical direction for Madonna, as she had not previously released a ballad as a single. The track features instrumentation from snare drums, harp, bass synthesizer & electric guitar. Lyrically, the song speaks of desire between two lovers & consists of innuendos. It received positive response from music critics & earned Madonna her 1st Grammy Award nomination in the Best Female Pop Vocal Performance category in 1986. The song became Madonna's 2nd #1 single on the US Billboard Hot 100 & reached the top position in the charts of Australia & Canada. It peaked at #2 in Ireland, New Zealand & the UK.

Written & produced by Madonna & Stephen Bray, the main inspiration behind "Keep It Together" was Madonna's relationship with her family - whom she dearly missed after her divorce from actor Sean Penn. The song was dedicated to American funk & soul band Sly & the Family Stone. The lyrics deal with the realization of how important Madonna's family has been to her life. A pop & funk song consisting of an upbeat rhythm & groove, It features instrumentation from percussion, banjo & a conga. The song was a commercial success, reaching a peak of #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 & Canadian charts, while topping the dance chart in the US & Australia.
