Description
This is a very rare opportunity to purchase a MINT 1973 vinyl LP record of Still Point from Madder Lake.
Madder Lake were one of the most original bands to emerge on the Australian music scene in the early 1970’s. Still Point, recorded November 1972, January and March 1973, was their first album.
Band members – Mick Fettes (vocal), Brendon Mason (guitar), John McKinnon (piano, organ, vocals), Jack Kreemers (drums), Kerry McKenna (bass)
Mick Fettes’s distinctive vocal style was an important part of Madder Lake’s energetic sound.
The intricate detail of the ‘other world’ art work on the gatefold cover set this record cover apart from others. The inside cover contains band members photos.
With Still Point on your turntable, you will be singing along and dancing around the room and wondering how such a dynamic and original Aussie band never made it big overseas.

- This record is from my own collection.
- It has always been kept inside a plastic ‘zip’ record bag and stored vertically in shelving.
- The record has rarely been played.
- Record in mint condition.
- Record labels in mint condition.
- Catalogue number Mushroom Records MRL 34,915 33 1/3 record.
- Cover gatefold type with matte finish, no ring wear, in mint condition.
- Inner sleeve anti static style, in mint condition.

- The record will be packed between 2 sheets of corrugated cardboard and despatched in an Australia Post Padded Bag.
