NOTE: eBay has implemented its new FEEDBACK policy to which ANY customer for ANY reason or ANY excuse can give sellers (i.e. "us") negative feedback. Please understand, we have served thousands of "satisfied" customers and processed thousands of orders - far more than our feedback records indicate - It is our intention to give EACH and EVERY buyer our best possible service and we are known to ALWAYS deliver your purchased item. ALL items paid for are processsed 'outbound'  to each and EVERY customer, satisfaction guaranteed.  Keep in mind we have serviced THOUSANDS of satisfied customers and our aim is to continue to do so.

We make every effort to mail all orders out Friday of each week.  Keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two at most.   We also strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable.

TO OUR REPEAT CUSTOMERSWe often get requests to hold orders to save on shipping.  We are happy to do thatPlease pay your current invoice within five days of auctions ending and IF YOU REQUEST we will hold your order and reflect a shipping discount for each additional order shipped together in the same parcel.   To receive continual shipping discounts, we will hold your orders as long as you want, but it is necessary to pay each invoice you receive to stay current.   Most importantly, we appreciate your business.

A Stone Cold Classic!

CLEAN 1972 ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING in thick gatefold cover and on the collected OLIVE GREEN Warner Brothers label....The second and best Little Feat album containing two early members of the Mothers Of Invention...Lowell George and Roy Estrada ...

Little Feat: Lowell George (vocals, guitar, harmonica); Bill Payne (vocals, accordion, keyboards); Roy Estrada (bass guitar, background vocals); Richard Hayward (drums, percussion, background vocals).

Thinking about the late, great Lowell George and his band Little Feat. To these ears, Lowell George was the ultimate musical "integrator." It's not just that he drew on blues and rural and rock equally in his music -- lots of artists did that at the time--but that he forged something so original, even unclassifiable out of this stew. It was Lowell George music just like the Beatles were their own genre, and while Little Feat sounded mostly like electrified rural rock with a twist  - a leaner, tougher Eagles - it was all based on blues playing, blues practice and, above all, blues structure.

We love SAILIN' SHOES, a trippy album which is also perfectly produced, capturing the close sound of an ace band with little subtle, musical touches in the mix. George's slide guitar playing is superb on its own and Bill Payne's keyboards bring  just enough sophistication and polish to what could be a very raw sound, the way Floyd Cramer or Hargus "Pig" Robbins used to on the Nashville sessions in the '60s. "Willin" is a rural rock classic. The near-power poppish "Easy To Slip" is almost something Big Star could have done on RADIO CITY. And we get some of that original swamp gumbo on their version of Allen Toussaint's "Sailin Shoes."

Highlighted by a reworked group version of "Willin'", the track that had led Frank Zappa to sack guitarist and vocalist Lowell George from The Mothers of Invention, it also featured such enduring tracks as "A Apolitical Blues", "Easy to Slip" and the title track, all by guitarist and lead vocalist Lowell George, the second co-written with Martin Kibbee (a.k.a. Fred Martin), a former bandmate (The Factory), and the first appearance of the "George/Martin" credit on a Little Feat record.

  1. "Easy to Slip"  – 3:22
  2. "Cold Cold Cold" – 4:01
  3. "Trouble" – 2:19
  4. "Tripe Face Boogie"  – 3:16
  5. "Willin'" – 2:57
  6. "A Apolitical Blues" – 3:28
  7. "Sailin' Shoes" – 2:53
  8. "Teenage Nervous Breakdown" – 2:13
  9. "Got No Shadow" – 5:08
  10. "Cat Fever"  – 4:37
  11. "Texas Rose Cafe" – 3:42
