We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. RARE ...1969 first pressing on the old PINK & RED United Artists label, in thick gatefold with bound photo pages inside gatefold, all intact...it's the second album by TRAFFIC featuring the original group cover...

Recorded in the summer of 1968 and released later that fall, Traffic, the band's sophomore release, stands as the outfit's high-water mark and one of the great rock albums of its time. Clearly, Dave Mason and Steve Winwood had completely different visions for the band, both musically and socially. In fact, Mason had already left the band at the year's beginning, only to return a few short months later. Mason liked to work alone and favored rooted folk-tinged material; Winwood saw the band as a communal affair and leaned toward progressive psych-influenced music. Of course, the synthesis of these two approaches is what makes Traffic such a terrific album. There's not a weak moment across these 10 songs. By fusing into the rock structure, bits of folk, wisps of psychedelia, and even slightest elements of jazz and soul, the album managed to both presage and summarize the ambitious developments of rock music during its most creative era.

CONDITION: The cover: thick gatefold cover is very crisp and stiff, MINT in factory shrink wrapper plus info sticker ...the original owner neatly taped the outer cellophane seams to avoid any tears to the fragile outer cellophane wrapper...underneath is a rare to find MINT cover, one that is highly wear prone, hardly any orig copies exist without some shelf wear - here is one such TOP COPY no shelf wear!!!  ...fresh colors ...no bends, no writing and no split seams ... from 45 years ago.

The vinyl: all glossy clean, M- TOP COPY = plays CLEAN and enjoyable from start to finish with CLEAN original labels
