 *** ATTENTION!***

Please carefully read our entire listing to answer any questions you may have,  including discount shipping rates at end of listing; then contact us directly with any other information you may need.

WITH MUCH APPRECIATION TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS:  If you have a question on orders received, please contact us.  We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied.   When leaving Feedback, please consider the following:  eBay's policy on the 5-star rating system is anything less than a 5  reduces our standing with eBay and ultimately can affect our selling abilities.   SO please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music!  We have served thousands of satisfied customers  - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so.
We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records.   Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of  2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.

We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays.  Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday.   We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable.  We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order.  Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

TO OUR REPEAT CUSTOMERS:  We are happy to hold orders to save on shipping.  Please pay your current invoice within five days of auctions ending and, if you request, we will hold your order and reflect a shipping discount for each additional order shipped together in the same parcel.

As always, thank you for your support!

TOP COPY, RARE...Original 1969 first pressing vinyl still in original factory shrink wrapper by a Southern GARAGE ROCK band known as FIVE BY FIVE...

Five by Five was a good garage rock band that formed in Magnolia, Arkansas in 1967. The group was made up of Ronnie Plants (lead singer, fuzz guitar), Larry Andrew ( fuzz guitar), Tim Milam (organ, vocals), Bill Merritt (bass), and Doug Green (drums).

Produced by Gene Kent, 1968?s “Next Exit” offered up a mix of their earlier singles and then new studio material. Apparently  he producer was not too comfortable with the band’s creative talent, the focus was on better known material; in this case a mix of popular and lesser known hits. Drummer Doug Green’s wonderful ‘Too Much Tomorrow’ was the one exception and also provided the stand out track making you wonder how good the album would have been if they’d been given a little more creative freedom.

Clearly determined to maximize commercial potential, the set covered virtually every musical niche imaginable including competent stabs at blue-eyed soul (‘Soul Man’), conventional top-40 pop, and frat rock jammers (their earlier ‘Shake a Tail Feather’ rave-up). Best of all were the band’s stabs at psych oriented material.

Their raw cover of ‘Hush’ easily put Deep Purple’s better known cover to shame. Similarly the famous Jimi Hendrix Experience psych jammer "FIRE" starts the album off with hard fuzzed-out raves that all garage/psych collectors should enjoy ...as well, another highlight is ‘Nothing You Do’, AND their wild take on Arthur Lee and Love’s ’7 and 7 Is’ (be sure to check out the this track out on a good pair of headphones), and the sitar propelled cover of The Sir Douglas Quintet’s ‘She Digs My Love’ are all worthy of this obscure album from 1968.
