14 SEALED VINYL LP'S IN A NUMBERED, LIMITED EDITION U.S. COLLECTION OF THEIR ORIGINAL EMI/PARLOPHONE ALBUMS IN THE CLASSIC BLACK OAK WOOD ROLLTOP BOX. NUMBER 0978 OF 6000.

Original owner. In 1988 I owned a retail record and tape store and purchased this item directly. Low number (978) of limited run of 6000. It has been lovingly stored in a dry, smoke-free environment for all those 29 years.
All 14 vinyl albums are all still sealed, with no yellowing, fogging or degradation of the plastic wrap. The box itself is a very dark stained oak, with classic roll top front/cover. "The Beatles" is printed in gold leaf ink on the front bottom of the box. The tracks for the roll top have been maintained once a year with a light rubbing of wax so roll top works almost like new, just a little snag when you first start pulling it up and back, then glides well. Laminate on edges is slightly marred on two of the curved edges, (See photo 1) but only exposes matching dark wood underneath. This is a lovely set for the collector who appreciates it, in really great condition.
