Description

This is a beautiful, original shrink-wrapped copy of "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong, pressed in the U.S. by ABC Records. This LP and its lead song have a very interesting history. "What a Wonderful World" was released in 1968, and while it went to number one in the U.K., it never even charted here in the U.S. An album was released in England and did quite well, but here in the U.S., it never charted on Billboard. Therefore, this LP sold relative few copies. However, in 1988, this song was selected for the soundtrack to the film "Good Morning Vietnam." It then charted in the U.S. at number 32 on Billboard. What we have here is the original 1968 LP, released on ABC Records, housed in its original shrink-wrap. There are no seam splits or spine problems and, while the shrink is dirty, underneath will be a beautiful, near mint cover. There is a bit of fraying on the lower right corner tip and some scuffing on the back top. Using a 100 watt bulb to grade by, the vinyl is a shiny,  beautiful near mint with near mint labels. This also comes with the original, die-cut inner sleeve that it was issued with. Questions?? Please email me.
