Columbia "Jazz Masterworks" Set C-73, "Louis and Earl", Earl hines with Louis Armstrong's Hot 5 and Hot 7. See supersized pics for track listings.  The second disc is the first issue of "Chicago Breakdown" and "Don't Jive Me", recorded in 1927 and 1928 by OKeh. The cover is in nice condition with a little wear. The records are in high V++ to E- condition, and play E+ or better. There's a lamination crack on "Don't Jive Me" that BARELY clicked in the lead- in, but doesn't affect the music. "Muggles" has a pair of needle drops that look nasty, but passed fine with a couple pops. other than that, scuffs and marks on the surfaces are completely superficial and don't affect play. Original OKeh stampers throughout.
