Very very very very RARE Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington Double LP -MFSL 2-155. One of the hardest titles to find especially NEW and SEALED. This is in absolutely perfect condition. The corners are perfect there are no splits or tears in the cover it is BRAND NEW. It is perfectly sealed and the outer cover is PERFECT. A sonic delight and is considered the best recorded of the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Jazz releases - an Audiophile must. My own copy of this is out of this world. From the opening bars of "Duke's Place" you will know that you are listening to one of those magical sonic treats that you only get to experience a few times in a lifetime. I have only seen two sealed copies on Ebay this year and one of those sold for $300!!! It is that difficult to get hold of. This is the third and I reckon that because of the low print run of this title, there can be no more than 10 sealed copies left in the world! Buy now in time for Christmas before it's too late. THIS IS THE ONE!! If you want to be sure of getting this title please use the buy it now option before somebody else does. I have lost auctions because I was just too tight with my cash to pay the full Buy it Now price, this is so rare, you have to ask yourself is it worth the risk of having somebody else steal it from right under your very nose?? I also have this up for sale elsewhere so I may remove the auction offer if the item is sold.
This copy was purchased new by my father. It has been stored correctly (in a humidity free environment and in an lp box so there will be no ringwear at all and the vynil should be absolutely as flat as the day it was pressed ) for years and should be perfect but as it is sealed I cannot take any responsibility for the condition of the vynil. I will be happy to open it and check the condition before I post it, but I am sure that the lucky buyer will want to have the pleasure of doing that himself!
I will pack this irreplaceable gem with real care in the following manner: Oversize cardboard outers (to avoid corner damage that so often occurs with MFSL lps in transit), these will be taped to avoid the lp sliding within them. I will the either bubble wrap or use polystyrene to add extra cushioning and extra padding to avoid any movement within the box. This will then go into a solid thick lp box. I will pack this as I would like to receive all the LP's I buy for myself (unfortunately this is not always the case).
