Description
All the records I sell are from my own collection.
This is Lou Reed & John Cale & Songs for Drella, released in 1990. US 1st pressing on Sire Records cat no. WX 345. Matrix numbers are 1-A/1-B. Labels are super clean, with just 1 or 2 light spindle traces on side 1 only. Vinyl also very clean with a deep glossy shine. Record plays very well, with fantastic sound quality & a very low noise floor, almost totally silent throughout & obviously not been played often. No jumps clicks or pops. Cover in great shape spine is intact, corners are sharp. No rips, creases, stains, writing or marks, & original inner also good. A super copy of this classic record.
I clean all my records with a VPI record cleaning machine & test play before selling.
Grade. Sleeve Ex -. Vinyl Ex +.
Record grading. I use the Record collector grading system as follows. M.(Mint). These are absolutely perfect in every way. NM. (Near Mint). A good description of a NM record is one that looks like it has just been bought & opened for the first time. In other words, nearly perfect, never played or handled. Ex. (Excellent). The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening of the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VG. (Very Good). The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. G. (Good). The record has been played so much that the sound has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits etc.
