An original first pressing stereo version with the upside down image of Eric Emerson on the rear jacket sleeve (the Emerson image was only on the first pressing of the album and was first covered and then subsequently removed from later pressings after he threatened to sue).
Verve V6/5008 stereo with following matrix: Side 1: V6-5008 / MGS-558-Rev Side 2: V6-5008 / MGS-559.
Record is in very good visual condition (I don't have a working player) with no apparent scratches or scuffs, etc. Could use a cleaning but it should play with minimal if any noise.
The gate-fold sleeve is missing the outer banana skin (i.e., "peeled") and has some visible ring wear that could be cleaned somewhat. There are no split seems or owner marking.
The Velvet Underground included: Lou Reed, John Cale, Sterling Morrison and Maureen Tucker. Oh yeah, and Nico.
