This rare first press LP features vinyl in near mint condition, in fact it looks as if it has never been played except for a few visible, tiny pin point size, light colored spots which do not affect the audio quality whatsoever!   I am very critical of my vinyl grading.  The reason this LP is in this, near mint condition, is that I would record to tape then put the LP away - where it remained preserved for the past 40 years!

I love this LP, the music is classic Lou Reed and I think it is his best album ever!  Other attributes include:

Notes

1.  All Photos are of the actual item being auctioned using bright white lights which show any and all imperfections.

2.  LP is very carefully packaged (unlike many others) to avoid damage (wrapped in tissue, then paper, then cardboard panels, then sealed in custom LP shipping box - sealed on all sides).  I pack them this way so you have no surprise due to shipping damage.

3.  Vinyl Grading Guide:

            (MINT)  vinyl looks new and perfect looking.  (Not many records make this grade).

                (NEAR MINT)  vinyl is ‘like new” very clean with only minor and superficial of marks.
                (VG++)  vinyl has very minor surface marks and wear but is in excellent condition.
                (VG+)  vinyl shows some surface marks but is still in relatively good shape without any deep scratches
                (VG)  vinyl shows a fair amount of wear and maybe one or two scratches which can be felt
                (G)  vinyl shows excessive wear.

This is a remarkable original LP to add to your Lou Reed and other late 60's and early 70's music collection!

Other Comments:  The vinyl is in near mint condition on this and almost all of my personal collection of LPs.  Years ago, when I first purchased them, I would always buy the LP, then record it to tape, it was then put away, unplayed to this day!  Very few LPs ever show up truly in this condition.
