TITLE: Wailing With Lou - West 63rd - DG DESCRIPTION: LOU DONALDSON QUINTET Wailing With Lou (Very rare 1957 US 6-track deep groove mono LP on a West 63rd address Blue Note label with RVG stampers and ear etchings in the run-out also starring Donald Byrd on trumpet Herman Foster piano Peck Morrison bass & Art Taylor drums. The pasted sleeve has heavy edge scuffing and some foxing with age on the reverse as to be expected. However whats particularly lovely about this copy is the condition of the vinyl - it looks barely played and sounds majestic. There are just a
couple of small cosmetic marks at the end of the last track which cause
a few clicks but this is barely noticeable. Play tested from beginning to
end we can safely say one lucky audiophile among you will be very
happy indeed!)
