Description
Up for auction is a beautiful, highly collectible Lou Donaldson’s Blues Walk on Blue Note BST 1593. This is a rare early stereo pressing. Blue/White "Blue Note Records Inc • 47 West 63rd • NYC" with ® symbol. Confirmed Deep Groove (DG) on both sides. Deadwax Marks: Hand-etched Plastylite "P" (The Ear) and stamped "RVG STEREO" on both sides. Original mono-stock laminated cover featuring the authentic Gold Foil The vinyl is vibrant with a high factory luster. Side 1 is exceptionally clean. Side 2 features one light visual surface scratch. Colors are sharp and lamination is glossy. No seam splits the spine and edges are remarkably intact. There is minor softening/light bending at the opening corners as is typical for a record of this age.
