Description
Up for auction is the rare and sought after live release Lord Melody Presents Bandemonium. This is a compilation of live performances of various musicians from an event that Lord Melody hosted in 1960, and all the performances remain exclusive. In addition, this record was only released in Trinidad, unlike a lot of Cook's releases that also saw US release. Also, although all the music is correct, it has the same labels on both sides, which collectors may find interesting.
Condition is a pretty average Good condition, that is, it plays well with crackle, though it's a good strong mono and the performances are well recorded. The cover as can be seen has a portion torn off and the sides taped. I doubt the previous owner who left it in this condition knew this would be collectable. Overall, it's a very rare record that is a year shy of 60 years old, and will only get rarer as the years go on.
