Description
First, let me say as an introduction, that I have been retired now for a number of years. In short, I would no longer be considered a young man. I have been trying to divest myself of a life-long accumulation of many areas in collectibles including records, CDs, comics, sports cards, movie stills, sports photos, autographs, movies, etc. for quite a while now. I have been able to move a lot of items through the years but time is growing shorter daily and, frankly, I'm getting tired of doing this. That does not mean I am willing to give away my items for pennies on the dollar though. It does me no good to have to continue relisting items over and over for YEARS. I'd like them to be sold while I'm actually still living. Long story short, that is why I stress that I am looking for BIDDERS. Those who "WATCH" are of no real use to me. They almost never buy anything. They only "watch" and ask questions. So … if you are interested in helping me get rid of my treasures please bid. If you just love "watching" and playing you are doing neither of us any service and I would prefer you just move on and not become a "watcher". I am attempting to be as polite as possible about this and still make my point. (Thanks for completely ignoring my request as usual and enjoy the promised increase.). Payment is expected within 4 days time. If payment is not received within that time period an unpaid item reminder will be sent. This will originate automatically from Ebay. It will not come from me and is not meant as a personal insult. If your are the type who can't handle getting such a reminder there is a very simple solution - make prompt payment. Payment via Paypal takes about 4 MINUTES so I feel that 4 DAYS is certainly sufficient time to get it done. If you fail to read or follow these instructions then it is you who have caused the problem, not me. Even Ebay acknowledges that it is the responsibility of the BUYER to read and follow the instructions of the seller in order to make a successful transaction. I am sorry to have to be so blunt but I am very tired of folks ignoring clear instructions and then blaming me for their mistakes. Respect is a two way street. I try very hard to treat my customers well (as my feedback indicates) but I need to receive a little consideration as well. At one time I had over 3,000 albums. The count now is around 25. I have been very successful at selling off what was once a great collection of (primarily) blues and blues-rock LPs from all over the world. This sell-off is now in it's very final stages and it is time to put an end to it and turn the focus to selling my remaining 45s. So ... long story short, I am wanting to sell this small remaining amount of LPs and be done with the listing and re-listing of them so let's see some offers on those remaining either as a group lot or as singles and move them on out of here. What is left is not a great quantity but is still great in quality. There are still some fine LPs available. Don't miss out on them. Once they are gone there will be no more.
HINT : We are looking for bidders. If you truly have any interest in this item, STOP "WATCHING" and BID. If you "watch" I promise you the price will go higher (trust me on this - Two of you, or more likely the same person twice, have now found out I was serious).
How in the world can this album still be available? This is a near mint copy of one of Lonnie Mack's rarest releases on album (second only to the South album). "The Memphis Sounds Of Lonnie Mack" is a 2 LP set released on Trip Records containing all sorts of oddities collected from his early days on Fraternity Records in Cincinnati. Lonnie is a local legend in my area and deservedly so as his guitar work has influenced many artists over the years, most notably Stevie Ray Vaughan. This is a very scarce release and in all my years of dealing it is the only copy of this album I have ever had while I have sold 2 copies of the South LP which is considered to be a rarer album. The vinyl on this looks brand new while the jacket is also very nice with only a small 1 inch by a half inch area on the front in the upper right which once contained a price sticker. If you turn the cover in the light you can tell where it once was. Also, there are 2 dents/nicks in the top back seam of the gatefold LP where it appears it may have been dropped or something gouged it. They are not serious but certainly noticeable. I have tried to show it on photo 3 though it was difficult to capture. This is one you do not want to miss if you are a Lonnie Mack collector because I will almost surely never have another. Don't miss this one or you'll wish you had bid later when it is long gone.price rating
