Issued by Apple UK in 1972, featured here is a SCARCE and Original UK **1st Issue** PROMOTIONAL DEMONSTRATION Vinyl LP for Lon and Derrek Van Eaton’s ‘Brother’ release. Ringo Starr, George Harrison and Klaus Voorman had an input in producing this album.
The Promo LP is on the official Custom Apple Label and has the wording ‘Demonstration Record Not For Sale’ printed on both sides of the record labels, together with the wording ‘Mfd in UK’ label text.
The Side 1 Stamped matrix is SAPCOR 25 A-1U, the side 1 stampers are: ‘1’, ‘G’. The side 2 matrix is SAPCOR 25 B-1U and the side 2 stampers are ‘1’, ‘G’.
The album comes in a white printed Apple Inner bag and is housed in an Original laminated Gatefold sleeve.
Both sides of the Record labels and both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in SUPER close to mint condition. The Gatefold sleeve is graded in excellent plus condition, a very nice bright and clean sleeve, showing just minimal corner wear to the bottom right hand corner, however, there is no handwriting to any part of the sleeve.
A SCARCE and official UK APPLE release – not often seen in stock.
