Charity auction for the Limited Edition Numbered "1", Lola in Slacks 7" single "Postscript in Blue" signed by the band. This is a collectors item (number 1 of 500 issued) with 100% of the highest bid going to Mind Mosaic Counselling & Therapy- a worthy cause very close to our hearts.
Mind Mosaic Counselling and Therapy is an Inverclyde charity providing counselling and therapy service to people in Inverclyde.

Mind Mosaic are well qualified professionals with a passionate belief in the positive benefits that therapeutic intervention can have in bringing about personal growth and development, empowering individuals and improving relationships.

Their provision includes but is not limited to high quality counselling and psychotherapy; Trauma therapy, specialist adult survivor services, Perinatal mental health services for families affected, counselling training. As well as various groups and diversionary activities

Mind Mosaic currently receives no statutory funding and relies mainly on grants and income generation. Their services are donation based. They have introduced a “per session” donation based system. This system is offered at a sliding scale of between £5 and £25. The actual amount donated is decided by the client themselves.
Lola in Slacks drummer, Lesley has worked with the women adult survivors group at Mind Mosaic where she taught a group of women how to play drums in a group setting over several weeks. The women, who had little or no previous experience on an instrument had their stress levels measured before and after the block of sessions. Every result came back positive with the women feeling empowered, confident in themselves with lower anxiety levels as well as very proud of their achievements. STV came to film the last session and as some participants wished to remain anonymous as their therapy is confidential, they wore masks to protect their privacy. Lola in Slacks recognise that music is therapy for many and although Mind Mosaic is not a music therapy charity, the band are keen to help adults and children access the vital services offered whilst also raising awareness.
