From Steve Barrow's Personal Collection...!!! Little Roy Righteous Man OH GOSH ME BREDRIN WHERE DO I START.....!!!! Back in the mid-eighties I found a tune on Lloyd Daley's "Matador" label entitled "Righteous Man" by Little Roy. The tune had never seen the light of day. All the serious revive collector's and DJ's from London were almost in a PANIC........they just couldn't find this tune....!!! Mr. Dave Home, The Legendary Duke Vin & myself went to New York in 1989 and we found FIVE COPIES of this WACKIE'S LICK.....!!!! We just could not believe what we were listening to. We each kept a copy and sold the remaining 2. Steve was fortunate enough to GRAB a copy. To this day it remains one of the biggest "Revive Monster's" on the "Sound Clash" scene....that's if you can locate a copy....!!!! It uses the early Mighty Diamonds "Oh No Baby" Rhythm. Don't be fooled.....this tune was only ever pressed by the handful...!!! Original & Only Jamaican pressing from 1971 EX+++ Condition An absolutely beautiful copy....ESSENTIAL...!!!!
