Description

So here we go...

Up for sale is - Little Free Rock - S/T - UK Transatlantic Press - TRA 208

Details -

Sleeve - This single, fully laminated, Made in England by MacNeill Press, sleeve is in a strong VG+ condition. Laminate lifting towards the spine on both the front and back of sleeve, which is somewhat normal for a sleeve this age. Small laminate scratch to left side of front sleeve, right next to the middle of the filmstrip. Very light ring wear to front of sleeve as well. Like I said, strong VG+, and I think good old Pete would think the same. Check his, umm, thoughts on it in the picture above!

Labels/Spine/Inner - Both sides labels, the purple/white globe, first press variation, are clean, but spindle wear is detected, so I would grade them EX-. The spine is fully legible, and in EX+ condition.

Matrix #'s (Machine stamped of course) - Side A - STRA208-A1 Side B - STRA208-B1

Vinyl - Visually both sides retain their beautiful gloss. Side 1 I could only find one tiny hairline scratch visible. Side 2 I could not detect any scratches or marks. Playgraded on my LINN SONDEK LP12 (The only reason I mention my table, is because this is how playback sounded to me on my table. On your particular table playback might be totally different than it was on mine. Heck, it might be even better!), Side 1 exhibits some light static and crackle throughout, but can only really be detected during the quiet interludes and passages, which there aren't that many of! Side 2 is in much better condition. Very, very light static detected. With a good cleaning, I would say the static and crackle would seriously lessen, but sadly I do not own a cleaner. I would grade the vinyl a strong EX.

Don't miss out on obtaining this super rare LP! It's a super rare press on this label, and is really such a beautiful album. Have to make space for other things, so that's why I'm letting this one go!

I'm listing around 7 more rare UK presses from various labels (Transatlantic, Windmill, Philips, Blue Liberty, etc.) today, so please check my listings for other rare UK finds.  Thanks bidding and good luck!!

Shipping/Payment - I will ship worldwide, and postage is not free. The LP will be shipped in a solid LP mailer, and will leave my hands in the exact same condition described above. Shipping rate will be calculated after auction ends, but I'm very fair with my shipping rates, as I'm a fellow collector, and am not in this to make any extra money off shipping, but if you do have any questions/comments about shipping, feel free to contact me at anytime, and I'll try to answer your question to the best of my ability!! The easiest payment type accepted is Paypal, but if you need to use another form of payment, feel free to email me beforehand so we can discuss what you plan to use!! Prompt payment is appreciated, but please try to forward payment to me within 7 days. Concerning returns & partial refunds,  buyers have 14 days to notify me about a problem with an LP. Please kindly describe the problem to me (please don’t re-grade the LP), and we'll go from there.

Grading - M - Like new EX+ - Nice…, but not  m- EX - Some cover wear which will be described in some detail.  At least a visual mark on the vinyl but light in nature and should play okay though there could be light surface sound VG+ - Seam splits , ringwear, cover wear, small sticker tears etc can come into play. On the vinyl there may be visual marks (eg. scuffs, hairline scratches). There can be some background surface sound. VG - More wear on covers and more wear on LPs (multiple marks) Most likely surface sounds though the LPs may rise above the music should be able to play without skipping or repeating.

Thanks again for looking, and good luck bidding!! Cheers!!
