Description
Franz Liszt's Piano Concerto's Nr 1 & 2, performed by Sviatoslav Richter with Kyril Kondrashin conducting the London Symphony Orchestra, possibly the finest recording ever of these pieces if I look at the reviews, with the odd comment on CD transfer, but of course this has never been anywhere near a CD!
This is on Philips PTC 90000, recorded at 7 1/2 ips 4 track stereo, a very fine example of this release.
All tapes are play tested on one of my own tape decks before listing and I check for no signs of oxide shed during play or fast winding.
