Forever Vinyl Presents: 60's Songwriter Legend (and to today even). The Denny Randell Acetate Collection.  

10" Acetate Single Artist: ??? Title is  I'm Going Out with the Girls 45 Speed. You are getting two copies of this plus the lyrics sheet for the song. The two acetates have different labels??!!. Girl Sound. 2nd Acetate is very worn and has a slightly faster tempo and different girl sound at a higher pitch. Condition: Good. Shows scuffs and scratches on the playing surface but plays all the way through and the sound is great.   Interesting. Can't find it on Denny's site as a recording song.

Value: How does one value this? It came from the Denny Randell Collection.  So far, previous acetates from this collection have gone as high as $500.00.  They are pretty much one of a kind items. We've seen acetates sell for $10,000. Value is in the eye of the beholder. We are considering all offers. Send them! We might say yes. Most offers will be responded to within 24 hours. We are selling a large collection of acetates owned and or created at one time by Denny Randell. Each item is listed here and to keep everything real, will grade at least GOOD. Good means, the item should play all the way through. It might also contain marks, nicks, and scratches that are audible. We are selling all items "As Is" just because they are acetates and can be fragile.  Denny Randell has sold over 200 million records and has worked with artists like Smash Mouth, The Monkees, The Four Seasons, The Toys, Richie Havens and more. The collection we are selling on consignment contains acetates from the 60's and 70's. Most were masters or test releases for Denny Randell and/or with Sandy Linzer or groups/singers they produced(mostly writing the songs on these acetates. Two of the 60's greatest song writing team on earth. All acetates are sold as is. We'll try to describe these as best as possible. Most acetates are fragile and tend to wear out as played. We highly suggest you treat this as a collectible only since there is normally one or two acetates of a song in creation. We have recorded this acetate just once so you can hear the sound quality.  The information on this item is the seem information you are seeing in the photos. We are going by what is on the labels or from our research. Most of the Acetates grade from GOOD on up to VG++. Items that grade VG++ will have very light scratches on the playing surface. I believe you will hear light clicks and pops if played. We are not grading the non playing surface.

Grading System: Cover/Record
Records are visually graded. 

Mint, SS     Sealed, SS, or Mint: Is either new or still sealed.

NM    Near Mint: Has very minor difference then mint. We normally grade everything near mint, even if it's mint. It's better to undergrade then overgrade.

VG++, VG+:  Has been played but not a lot.  Maybe some light scuffs or scratches, but no major wear or defects.  Cover may have some light ring wear but not distracting. Minor seam wear also. VG++,VG+ records should be good enough for almost any collector BUT THEY ARE NOT MINT.

VG    Very good:  Will have a decent amount of surface scratches and / or surface noise and / or pops & ticks, but will not be too distracting.   Cover will have more wear.

G       Good:  Still plays through but will not look pretty, may be noisy but should play all the way through.

P:       Poor:  Trashed.
