"Lipa Kodi Ya City Council" LP, Mississippi Records, MR-013, USA, 2006.
The outer sleeve is in EX condition.
(The sleeve has no writing on it, no stamp marks, no tears or water damage. Sleeve shows traces of glue residue due to handpasting and some very light creasing to the corners. There is a 2,5 cm seam split on the lower right-hand sleeve opening.)
The record is in NEAR MINT condition.
This is the ORIGINAL pressing with the recycled thick cardboard stock handmade tight-fit sleeve and the handpasted photograph on the front. What an anthology! All killer and no filler!! Limited edition of only a few hundred copies made with this sleeve design.
The matrix numbers are:
Side One: MR-013-A GOLDEN
Side Two: MR-013-B GOLDEN
The record has been graded strictly, aurally as well as visually.
Contains African R&B, Pop, Highlife, Palm Wine, JuJu and Choral music recorded between
1967 and 1972 in Mali, Kenya, Sierra Leone, Zambia, Rwanda, Somalia and Uganda.
