The holy grail of all UK Vertigo swirl albums!!!!!
Mega rare original 1971 UK pressed 11-track on the small Vertigo swirl label, 6360 060, in stereo, stamped 1Y/1 and 2Y/1 matrices in the run-outs. The earliest matrices ever.
The non laminated matt gatefold sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition. It would grade NM if it wasn’t for the discolouration of the 4 bottom corners (as shown on the photos)
Other than that this sleeve is fantastic, showing little evidence of storage with only a few spots of faint surface wear, no splits or obvious wear or writing, front and back panel are near mint. Sharp corners, no sticker marks.
Spine is fully legible, clean and in superb shape.
„VO PRICE CODE“ on the back cover.
The vinyl has a deep sheen and is graded NEAR MINT on both sides, with a few hairlines visible but nothing that has any impact on the play. No bag rash as so often seen with this monster rare swirly. The labels are clean, 2-3 faint spindle marks, still has that „unplayed“ look.
Fantastic sound quality
This vinyl has clearly seen very little play.
***Copies of Linda Hoyle‘s masterpiece on Vertigo swirl are rare as hens teeth and rarely turn up for sale.
