Decent Japanese import soundtrack compilation album ‘Der Deutsches Film (The German Movie)’ (1976), featuring various artists. 14 original soundtracks of schlager and score music from German films. The first in the series of famous voices of the past from 'European Cinema Music Of Golden Age'.

The cover features a photo of Lilian Harvey in a scene from 'Der Kongreß tanzt' (English: The Congress Dances) (1931).

Condition (refer also to notes at bottom): VINYL: G+. Looks unsoiled clean on visual inspection. A number of light scuffs and marks on each side and a few hairlines on side 2 as well. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is good throughout – and very good in places. Mild static/crackling at run-ins and light surface noise during and between cues and at fadeouts. These are archival recordings so quality is limited to original source. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. A decent listen.
OUTER SLEEVE/COVER: VG+. Colours are clear and unfaded on superb thick card sleeve. Just some very mild scuffing to edges and corners. A few nicks to front cover and aperture but spine in great shape. Back cover lightly foxed with some scuffs but no major defects. A decent sleeve overall.
INNER SLEEVE: VG. Original. D-shaped clear poly sleeve. Some crimping, folds and creasing but no rips or stains.
INSERT: G. 8-page booklet with lyrics in Japanese and German. Some stains, folds, creases, foxing. Apertures dogeared and a few small rips but overall intact. Good.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
