Lightnin Sam Hopkins LP S/T (Arhoolie F1011 USA 1960s) NM/EX
On Arhoolie (Cat: F1011) USA vinyl LP 1960s, from recordings in L.A. in 1961.
The record sound quality is impeccable, with no background noise, no crackles, clicks or jumps. Hence the play-graded LP gets NEAR MINT rating. The cover is a great example, and was easily graded EXCELLENT. See my descriptions below.
The record labels are clean with no stickers or writing. The playing surfaces showed up no problems from visual inspection. The record was play graded and plays almost like new – with no background noise and no jumps. Record is graded NEAR MINT.
The thick card cover is non-laminated but with a glossy finish on both front and rear.
There is very little in the way of blemishes to write about – just an impression of the disc on the front, one corner crease near the upper open edge (approx. 1.5-inches), and tiny dinks to the bottom edge corners. The rear of the cover has a very light impression of the disc. The spine and edges have no noticeable wear marks. All round, a clean sharp-edged cover easily graded EXCELLENT.

PACKAGING: This item will be protected inside a strong thick card pro-mailer. Records are placed in a new white polythene-lined inner sleeve, and packed separately from the record company cover to avoid splitting the seam. The record(s) and cover are then placed in a pvc sleeve for extra protection.
