Description
Up for auction from 1958 Lightnin' Hopkins 1st Press Debut LP (Strums The Blues) Score SLP 4022. Was purchased from a Good Rockin' Tonight telephone auction about 25 years ago played maybe twice being in the same condition as when purchased has been stored since. Comes in the same protective outer sleeve with their grading stickers as shown. My grading is COVER: G- Has masking tape along spines with shelf wear on front, and discoloration from it's 59 years of age on back is overall very sturdy. HEAVY VINYL RECORD: Both sides appear G still very glossy underneath has lots of light hairline scratches some I can just catch with my nail however amazingly both sides (play super clean) much better! than it's appearance very quiet even between the passages has a white spot on intro trail of side 1. as shown with just a bit of crackling distortion after the intro trail of side 2. LABELS: Have some spindle marks with a small tear near spindle hole on side 2 as shown. Comes in a generic protective inner sleeve. Overseas bidders please message me for shipping prices as I do insist on tracking.8-Original Score SLP 4022-Mint Minus
