Description
This LP came from my father's collection of mostly classical and jazz recordings, but he had about 20 blues LPs. His collection spanned several decades and media forms (LP, R2R, cassette, CD). I'm not an audiophile, I don't have a record player and I'm not a musician (he played jazz sax in his youth). I won't attempt to rate the condition of the sleeve or record but I'll do my best to describe them physically and try to give as much detail as possible. I have not listened to this record.
Sleeve: Front shows minor ring wear at a shallow angle, is a little faded but has no markings. The seams are all intact with very minor wear to the corners. Shelf wear consists of two shallow indentations from the storage rack my father used (the shelf was not as wide as the record). The back is faded to between white and yellow with very light ring wear. The back has what looks like a tape mark top center but as I said all the seams are definitely intact (not even close to being split), so I'm not sure why that's present. There is very minimal ring wear on the back. The inner sleeve has been replaced with a Discwasher VRP sleeve.
Record: The label has no marks or wear on either side, the printing is all intact, and the hole appears round. Check side one at 3 o'clock to see a tiny depression near the hole; I'm not sure if this is considered damage or not. The record appears very glossy and unusually free of scratches and scuffs. The record is dusty and needs cleaning but I don't see any other signs of wear or damage.
Ships in a Sleeve City USA box designed for LP shipping. The record will be separated from the sleeve for shipping. Sells and ships to the confirmed PayPal address of the buyer only, not to any other person or address.
