 Lightnin' Hopkins - "Blue Lightnin" - 1965 - Jewel Records LPS 5000

Classic Lightnin' Hopkins record from 1965 on Stan Lewis' Jewel Label. Hopkins had left his core African American audience behind by this time in favor of recordings aimed at the young white folk audience. This LP was his attempt to regain some footing in the African American audience. Features piano by Texas native Elmore Nixon. Great sound, great guitar.

Record Condition - NM - one tiny scuff on track 1, side 2. Does NOT affect sound. Rest of the vinyl is mint. Never played.

Cover Condition - NM - Still in shrink wrap!! - Cover contains two promo punch out holes. Top right and left corners. See photo.
