Hallo Plattenfreunde,
Ich sammle seit 35 Jahren Schallplatten und trenne mich nun von einer ganzen Reihe meiner Vertigo Swirl-Scheiben, um einfach mal Platz für Neues zu machen - auch im Kopf... Ihr findet auch rare Kraut-Scheiben u. a. Obskures bei mir, meist Ende 60er/Anfang 70er.
Als (möglichst Mint-)Sammler war ich für eine saubere Beschreibung immer dankbar - auch wenn ich viele Sachen neu gekauft oder auf Börsen erstanden habe. Und ich möchte auch als Verkäufer möglichst treffend und fair einstufen. Das ist nicht immer einfach, wissen wir alle. Natürlich kann man nicht alle Scheiben komplett durchhören. Daher habe ich sie jeweils stellenweise, mal mehr mal weniger, angespielt.
Ich hoffe, die Fotos reichen so. Ich habe nur eine einfache Kamera. Wer mehr wissen muss: bitte fragen.

Dear record collector,
I have been collecting records for over 35 years now, and I figured I should give away quite a bunch of my Vertigo Swirlies to clear up - my head mainly ;-) - and make way for new stuff. You'll also find some rare Kraut stuff and other obscurities from the late sixties and early seventies.
As a (near mint) collector I have always been grateful for a reasonable description, and I will try to do so now that I'm selling records. Actually, rating records can be a difficult job, and you'll agree that one cannot go listening to each and every record completely. But at least partly :-)
I hope you'll find the pictures satisfactory. I only have a very simple camera. If you need to know more, please contact me.

LIGHTHOUSE - One fine Morning
- Vertigo 6342 010 D, 1971
- LP optically: absolutely shiny, slight hairlines visible only when mirrored under bright light, M-
- LP acoustically: the slightest background sizzling at the beginning or between tracks, otherwise perfect and altogether still M-
- FOC outer, not laminated: This cover is generally very delicate and prone to wear but I am lucky to say I have never seen one in a better overall condition. Please note that there is a cut out hole in the bottom left corner, below which, next to the edge there is a small spot of wear. Otherwise absolutely flat, smooth surface, minimal corner wear not worth mentioning, Ex+ or maybe better
- FOC inner: minimal wear due to dust, hardly visible, still M-
Please note that on the inside of the cardboard, in the slot where the record is put in, there is a name written down. You can not see it when you look at the sleeve from either side, it is on the inside of the inside, so to speak. I even overlooked it when I bought the record way back when.   ;-)
- Labels: A: the slightest shadow of a former sticker (no residue!), very hardly visible on left hand side, you can not even tell it on the photo, therefore Ex+, B: no signs of wear, M
Original Vertigo Swirl 1971. Famous Roger Dean cover painting. Lighthouse was more than once Canadian Group of the Year.
Bought long time ago and archived. You will do hard to find a better copy, to find a copy at all...   ;-)
