Description

This auction is for an original Ultra-Rare Lewis Tally and the Tallywackers featuring Henry Sharpe "Nite Time at Pat and Charlies" LP on the Tally records label (Tally ST 1005).  The VINYL is graded VG+ and I see no marks except a finger print that can be cleaned if you want.  COVER is VG+ with the plastic still on it. This record includes songs written by Tally protege Merle Haggard and pal Fuzzy Owen. Lewis Tally along with Owen were instrumental in jump starting Merle Haggard's legendary career. In fact Merle is one of the co-producers on this album. This collection was recorded in Bakersfield when Tally and The Whackers were the featured act at Pat and Charlie's Lounge in Ridgecrest, California. Pat and Charlie's eventually became JD's where Merle Haggard and the Stangers were regular performers. This record has been listed as one of the most rare Country Western records and it is in amazing condition. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
