Description
AN EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF AN INVESTMENT COLLECTABLE.
First pressing 1969 unboxed Decca Mono issue LP, with Upton Sleeve complete with 'Poster Included' sticker, pink mono inner sleeve, original Poster and the highly sought-after Rolling Stones Complete Catalogue Booklet.
LP is in very good condition with hardly any spindle marking, very light handling marks only.

Side Two: XARL 9364 P 2A
9363/9364 stands for the Decca file no. of the master tape used for the record.
'A' refers to Guy Fletcher, the engineer who created the master laquer and supervised the process up to the stampers. Check out stonesondecca.com for loads of interesting info.
The outer sleeve is in very good condition with a beautiful glossy sheen, very slight creasing. Really great iconic design by Robert Brownjohn, apparently inspired by the working title 'Automatic Changer'. The brilliantly wacky cake is attributed to Delia Smith, hired by Brownjohn whilst she was working as a home economist with a commercial food photographer.
The pink inner sleeve is in very good, bright, clean, condition with only light creasing, track listing and credits show the London Bach Choir, (the choir requested removal of their name on later issues by a black censor-block being added to overwrite the name).
The Victor Kahn poster is in unused condition, no creases except for the original folds.
The promotional booklet which shows super pics of the lads in their early days, and their releases to date (at the time), was handed out with only the first of the earliest issues and is now very scarce. In wonderful condition with no fading or creases, a very good example of this rarity. Shows nicely printed record shop name and address bottom right corner.
