Description
- Extremely rare 1953 monaural original Aladdin 10” LP “King Cole-Lester Young-Red Callender Trio” (Aladdin 705) with Nat King Cole on piano, Lester Young on tenor sax and Red Callender on bass.
- The tracklist is: Tea For Two/I Can’t Get Started/Body And Soul/Indiana.
- The LP retains most of the original gloss. There are some scratches and other marks but it plays surprisingly well all the way through. You should expect surface noise and some audible tics (nothing overwhelming). Also keep in mind that these tracks were recorded prior to the development of modern recording techniques. The labels are in near mint condition. The front cover is in excellent condition with clear graphics and light wear. The seams show some wear but there are no splits. The back cover has a large tear in the lower left corner and a smaller tear at the top left corner but all of the liner notes are perfectly clear (see picture).
