DESCRIPTION:
Lester Tipton – “This wont Change” / The Masqueraders “How”? This is the original RCA TEN INCH (10”) custom recording Acetate for the subsequent first UK pressing on Grapevine GRP 138. Probably the hardest grapevine stock pressing to find this Acetate is the only known copy. A while ago John Manship sold several Grapevine acetates in his auctions. These were sold by him on our behalf. The Tipton available here is the the last of the Grapevine acetates we had and most certainly the best.

CONDITION:
A note on grading: We use the UK Record Collector grading system with the addition of a (+) or a (-) to denote a slight increase or decrease in condition. Items described with an aural grade have been carefully played on a Garrard 301 grease bearing turntable paired with a Kondo Silver wired SME 3012 series 1 tonearm and Audio Note IO Ltd cartridge (See film above).

Acetate:
This two sided acetate presents well under magnified angled light, light (Non audible) staining from the plastic inner only. The playing surfaces are flat and the disk plays through without any form of hindrance (See film above) The hand written RCA custom labels are in nice order as is the spindle hole showing minimal signs of use. Graded as EX .
Sleeve
White plain issue sleeve, with annotations of pressing and artist = Excellent (EX)
