The Clover Boys. A group from Montreal that started in the mid-50s
and is one of the forerunners of Quebec rock.
The Clover Boys: a group from the 50's and 60's
who were made up of Fernand Laroche (guitar),
David Saint-James (bass), Claude "Cookie" Lamarche (drums)
and Pierre Brault (saxophone: Paul "Boogie" Gaudet).
On the occasion of their tour in Mexico, the Clover Boys took part in the film
"Poker de Reinas" in 1958 surrounded by magnificent partners including
the most beautiful woman in the world, the French Christiane Martel
elected Miss Universe with which they interpreted a wild Rock and Roll.
It was also this year that their first album (trilingual) was released,
only distributed in Mexico and Japan.
A historic record which transmits to Japan the enthusiasm
of the Quebec rock & roll scene of the 1950s!

du rock québécois.
Les Clover Boys : un groupe des années 50's et 60's qui
étaient formé de Fernand Laroche (guitare),
David Saint-James (basse), Claude "Cookie" Lamarche (batterie)
et Pierre Brault (saxophone : Paul " Boogie " Gaudet).
A l'occasion de leur tournée au Mexique Les Clover Boys
