THE BEATLES - 'LES BEATLES 1965'
This collection-filler copy of the French 1st pressing of 'Beatles For Sale' is one of the hardest to find of all their French LPs
This genuine original 1965 mono pressing is on the orange & black Odeon label: OSX 228
Matrix numbers: XAR 809 21/M6 238684 & XAR 810 21 & M6 238685
Vinyl weight: 148g
Housed in an outer fully laminated gatefold cover with open central front window
Complete with its original front laminated insert with the red/orange upper banner

Labels: VERY GOOD
Apart from a name written on side 2, there is little else to fault.
Visual: GOOD
General surface wear consistent with frequent handling & play. Both playing surfaces bear numerous light surface marks and hairlines, none of which are deep or 'feelable'.
Sound Quality: GOOD
This copy has been played many times and some low-level background crackle throughout. Some playwear is audible mostly on the final few track on each side. However, there are no jumps, repeats or any other audible major faults faults.
Cover: GOOD
A slightly tired but 100% complete example of this extremely fragile cover. The front panel is clean and glossy with some light bends to the spine and upper right corner & a repaired tear at the 6 o'clock position of the front circular window. There is general wear to the corners & some feathering & general wear along the front opening edge.
Apart from a name written on the right panel, the gatefold is is clean & undamaged.
The rear panel is clean & glossy with moderate storagwear rubbing but no major faults.
The spine is heavily worn with just a little lettering left but it is attached along its entire length.
Insert: EXCELLENT
Clean, glossy & flat with the only trace of storage rubbing a a single 'thumbnail' wrinkle.
