Description

For auction an extremely rare, first pressing, REVIEW COPY, of Leo Parker’s “Let Me Tell You ‘Bout it”. It’s an original 1961 pressing, that appears to be rarely played, the spindle wear would be an indicator. Also, John Birks (Dizzy Gillespie) appears on Trumpet.

One key thing to note with this edition is that no where on the front cover appears the album title. I’m unable to find anything on the internet about this, but every version I’ve seen has the title. There’s no mention of this version even existing on Discogs. This may very well be an extremely rare version of this cover and record. I can’t imagine many even exist.

Record Grade: VG+

Cover Grade: VG-

Seller Notes:

The cover does have some staining at the bottom, which is pictured. Not entirely sure how this happened, since I’m not the original owner, but the back cover is in very nice condition. The spine is intact and very nice. The cover itself is thick and laminated. The record is in beautiful condition. A few light marks on side B make this a VG+. This is a great piece of history and very rare. Enjoy!
