THE PLASTIC ONO BAND - 'LIVE PEACE IN TORONTO 1969'
John Lennon's 1st solo performance outside The Beatles featuring fellow musicians: Eric Clapton, Klaus Voormann, drummer Alan White and Yoko Ono, was recorded live at the Varsity Stadium, Toronto, Canada on September 13, 1969.
This earliest possible UK 1st pressing bears the dark green Apple Records with the catalogue number CORE 2001

Housed in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover, complete with its original plain white 'Patent no.1,125,555' inner-sleeve.
This example also includes its original stapled UK 13-month calendar printed by 'Templering Limited, Mitcham, Surrey'.

A perfectly clean & unworn set with a small collection of light spindle marks to the side two centre hole and just one or two to side 1.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine, deep-gloss and totally unmarked playing surface in strong daylight with just a few barely visible harmless wispy paper hairlines visible upon close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this well looked-after disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
This superb sounding copy has received just some careful light play on good equipment and my single play-check at volume found no evidence whatsoever of any groove/play wear distortion or background interference on any track or in either channel. Both sides are also free from any pops or ticks anywhere on or between any of these powerful tracks.
Cover: EXCELLENT
An extremely strong and clean example which retains an unscratched and unworn high-gloss laminate all-round with just a few light edge wrinkles but no other significant signs of wear. There is a touch of shelfwear to the lower corners but both opening edges are free from any tears of feathering. Both seams and the fully worded spine are all smooth, unstressed & unsplit.
Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD +
Clean & flat with some moderate storage creasing but no writing or other major wear.
Calendar: EXCELLENT
Clean & fully intact with minor handling wear but no major faults inside or out.
