JOHN LENNON & YOKO ONO - 'TWO VIRGINS'
1968 UK 1st PRESS *STEREO* LP
**SUPERB COPY**
This superb UK 1968 1st stereo pressing is on the dark green Apple/Track label: 613012
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & the 'Track Records' logo.
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label.
Housed in a fully laminated 'Technink' printed cover with the text on ther 'rear' panel.
Complete with its original die-cut, matt black inner-sleeve & original shop cellophane cover.
Matrix numbers: SAPCOR 2A-1 & SAPCOR 2B-1
Stamper numbers: 1/GM & 1GR
Just a single faint spindle mark on the side 2 label.
Visual: EXCELLENT PLUS
Both sides retain their 'as new' deep gloss shines with just a small clouded area covering a small area close to the edge on side 2. This is a manufacturing fault and not a result of wear.
Close & careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a few barely visible inner-sleeve removal hairlines but no further wear.
100% flat both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT PLUS
This copy has been played only twice and apart from a faint 'swoosh' on the first few minutes of side 2, all tracks play & sounds completely 'as new'.
There are no clicks, jumps or any other audible faults anywhere.
Cover: NEAR MINT
Pristine & perfectly white all-round with no age-spots, yellowing or any further significant or major wear.
As with all of these copies, there is a slight laminate lift on the rear towards the spine, but no laminate is split or missing.
All corners are clean and unbumped and both opening edges are in perfect condition.
Both seams and the unworded spine are also in perfect, undamaged condition.
Very hard to find a better example.
