1969 UK *1st PRESSING* LP
This rare & early 1st pressing was the 1st release on Apple's experimental Zapple label: ZAPPLE 01
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text, found only on true 1st pressings.
There is no tax/price code is present in the centre of either label.
The disc is housed within a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover.
Complete with its original printed inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: ZAPPLE 01 A-1 & ZAPPLE 01 B-1

Labels: EXCELLENT +
A clean & richly coloured set with just a very small collection of light spindle trails to each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which bear just a single light surface mark on side 1 in strong daylight & only a handful of barely visible harmless wispy paper hairlines when examined directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. Both sides also ie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: NEAR MINT
This copy has clearly been barely played and the sound throughout any my careful play-check at volume found it to be completely free from any audible faults or wear.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A super clean, strong a glossy example which bears just a few faint 'thumbnails' to the front panel but no other significant traces of wear. All corners are sharp and square and both opening edges are free from any tears or feathering. The rear panel shows a little light scratching from storage at a certain angle but no creasing or any other signs of wear. Both seams and the fully worded spine are all smooth, unstressed & undamaged.

Crisp & flat with just a few minor age-blemishes but no writing, or splits to any seam.
