Legendary & Mega Rare 6 x LP Box Erlon Chaves Banda Veneno Funk Soul Bossa
The only other example of this box set currently available to buy is from a guy in Brazil selling it for £553.00!
About 17 years ago I was in Bahia looking for records and an old man I met in the street took me to his lockup where he had literally thousands of rare LPs but they were in cement dust, rats had eaten the sleeves of many of them. There were records I’d been searching for for years and no one had ever been in this guy’s lockup before. Just as I was about to leave empty handed I noticed a box with an orange cover. The top was damaged but on closer inspection it was this super rare Erlon Chaves Banda Veneno box set. Incredibly the records inside were new and had never been played.
I’m downsizing and have to clear space so this box has to go. You can see the damage on the box in the photos but the records inside are new and unplayed.
Erlon Chaves was a genius arranger and conductor and this period represents his funkiest mixing soul, Bossa nova, black rio, samba and international hits.
Contains a booklet and six mint LPs in the box. With 6 records it’s pretty heavy at 2.25KG so international shipping isn’t cheap but try finding another copy of this box set!
