A genuine reggae masterpiece from the legendary Lee “Scratch” Perry, Super Ape is widely regarded as one of the greatest dub albums ever recorded. Originally released in 1976, it showcases Perry’s groundbreaking production techniques developed at his famous Black Ark Studio, creating an immersive blend of deep bass, echo, reverb and inventive studio experimentation that has influenced generations of musicians.
